Last Saturday, February 28, 2009, the Santiesteban Print Schmidt Engraving Workshop was inaugurated by the Mayor of the City of Hialeah. Many media and art personalities attended the event.

The main objective of the workshop is to rescue and continue developing this millennial technique, as well as supporting local artists with the printing process, and the preparation of neophytes through courses taught by professional engravers.

Said Bazze would like to invite you to a dinner–fundraiser next week on Friday, May 15 for the Alison Bixby Stone School (ABSS). ABSS is a not-for-profit primary school in rural Honduras close to Tegucigalpa on the campus of Zamorano University. ABSS's mission is to provide children of all socio-economic backgrounds an excellent bilingual primary education.
